Uganda Cranes: Five Left Out As Micho Names Final Squad

Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Sredojevic has confirmed the final 23-man squad for the Regional Tour.

The Uganda Cranes will play the Eastern region select at the Mbale Municipal Stadium this Saturday.

Five players have been left out from the initial squad that was summoned after failing to turn up for the only training session in Kampala.

The five players are Gavin Kizito Mugweri, Viane Ssekajugo, Cromwell Rwothomio, Kenneth Semakula and Steven Mukwala.

FUFA said that players had different reasons for not turning up for training at Kabira County Club on Thursday.

Consequently, Three KCCA FC players; Ashraf Mugume, Sadat Anaku and Rogers Mato have been added to the team.

The team, per FUFA website, will departs for Mbale on Friday morning.

Goalkeepers: Nafian Alionzi (URA), Simon Tamale (Soltilo Bright Stars), Jack Komakech (Vipers)

Defenders: Innocent Wafula (KCCA), Ashraf Mandela (URA), George Kaddu (Wakiso Giants), Herbert Achai (KCCA), Denis Iguma (KCCA), Geofrey Wasswa (KCCA), Musa Ramathan (KCCA), Najib Fesali (URA), Patrick Mbowa (URA)
