Ghanian Giants Asante Kotoko are set to confirm the siging of Uganda Cranes striker Steven Mukwala.
The deal has been on since last year but an agreement was not reached due to high demands from the player.
Consequently, Mukwala signed for URA FC in the recently concluded window and scored a double against Ethiopian Coffee in CAF Confederation Cup.
He won the StarTimes Uganda Premier League 2019/20 season golden boot with Maroons (on loan from Vipers) with 13 goals in 22 appearances.
The former Ssingo and Bulemeezi player in Masaza Cup is set to join Joseph Ochaya and George Abege as the other Ugandans to have played for Asante Kotoko.
Asante Kotoko, nicknamed the Porcupine Warriors, is a Ghanian club from Kumasi.
They have been champions of the Ghana Premier League a record 24 times, and have won the CAF Champions League twice in 1970 and 1983.
