Derrick Nsibambi Set For Spell In Ethiopia

Uganda Cranes striker Derrick Nsibambi is set to join a club in Ethiopia.

Cranes coach Milutin Micho Sredejovich slighly let the cat out of the bag on Tuesday.

We are having certain challenges and those challenges go into direction that some important players unfortunately they do not settle themselves from a point of having their ckubs and playing whatsoever.

“Nsibambi is in similar situation (with Emmanuel Okwi) as his Egyptian contract expired. He is now getting a new club in Ethiopia,” Micho said o Tuesday after the morning training session.

Nsibambi joined Smouha in June 2018, signing a three year deal then, from KCCA FC.

The forward was influential for KCCA FC where he won the Uganda Premier League title and the Uganda Cup in the 2017/2018 season, and also helped the side reach the group stage of the 2018 CAF Champions League.

One of Ethiopian Coffee and St George is expected to be the likely destinations for Nsibambi.
