Uganda Cranes: Bagoole Among Five Dropped As Micho Trims Squad

Uganda Cranes coach Milutin Micho Sredejovich has trimmed the squad in preparations for the upcoming Rwanda double header in the World Cup Qualifiers.

Vipers midfielder David Bagoole, who recently received his first call up, has been dropped.

George Kaddu (Wakiso Giants), Joachim Ojera (URA), Ibrahim Wammanah (UPDF) and Davis Kasirye (KCCA) are the other victims.

The players have been dropped just after three days of training at Lugogo.

There are now 28 local based players currently in camp preparing for Rwanda’s Amavubi Stars with the first tie away in Kigali on October 7 and a home game in Kitende three days later.

About 10 foreign based players will be added to the Squad, Coach Micho stated.

The team will have a friendly game against KCCA FC on Thursday at Lugogo and Vipers on Sunday in Kitende.
