KCCA FC 1-2 Uganda Cranes

The Uganda National Men’s team, the Cranes, edged KCCA FC 2-1 in a build up game played on Thursday at the MTN Omondi stadium in Lugogo.
Defender Denis Iguma and Winger Milton Karisa were on target for the Cranes as they continued with their preparations for the Upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiers double header against Rwanda.
Charles Lwanga scored the other goal for KCCA, who are also gearing up for the upcoming new UPL season next Month.
Iguma got the opener for the Cranes in the 26th minute heading in home off a perfect delivery from Julius Poloto’s corner.
However the lead didn’t last for long as Lwanga levelled matters seven minutes later with a long range effort that was too much to handle by goalkeeper Nafian Alionzi.
At the start of the second half, Micho used a separate starting team in bid to give other players more game time and also assess their performance.
With just two minutes left on the clock, Karisa scored the winner on the day to hand Micho’s charges victory on the day.
Uganda is in preparations for the upcoming FIFA Quatar World Cup Qualifier test against Rwanda that is due for next month.
The first tie will be held on 7th October in Rwanda with the second leg coming after three days later in Kampala.
After registering two goalless draws each against Kenya and Mali, Uganda currently sits third in group E with only two points.
