Onduparaka Signs USA-based Striker Atamba

Uganda Premier League side Onduparaka has today announced the signing of forward Atamba Nathaniel.

The former Mbarara City academy player joins the caterpillars from US outfit FC Minneapolis.

The forward bagged 32 goals and 19 assists in 87 appearances during his two years stay with the American club.

The 18 years old has put pen to paper on a 1 year employment contract that will keep him at the Ababet Greenlight Stadium till 2022.

The joins a long list of signings made by the Westnile Giants like Jarieko James, Aluma Oscar Musa, Okello Ivan, Yakin Rashid, Nathan Oloro, Kitabalwa Robert, Rashid Agau, Isaac Okello, Aluma Muzaid, Tibo Balemangi Tressor, Taban Wijo, Micheal Lutaaya and Ramathan Dudu.

The Caterpillars will be under a new head coach George Lutalo who is set to replace Joseph Mutyaba, per reports.

Shaban Muhammad who was released by Vipers on mutual consent is expected to rejoin the Onduparaka.
