Prisons won their second game in three days with a hard fought 45-44 victory over KCCA.

The Prison Queens were made to work hard for victory by a resolute KCCA side as the latter countinued with their losing streak.

Victory for Prison means that they are keeping within touching distance with archrivals NIC and Police.

Prisons Skipper Ajio Lillian told Club media: “Today’s game was not easy given the opposition we face from KCCA, they are a good side as well and gave us good lessons to learn.”

“We need to keep playing together and win as a team, am so proud of the girls and our fans at large, we love you for your understanding wavering support, as a team our is target still keeping on top while taking every matter game by game.”

Netball Super League Defending Champions NIC put on a clinic as they obliterated UPDF at Prison grounds, Luzira.

The NIC Ultimates were billed as favorites for this encounter in pre-match previews and didn’t disappoint, literally.

They flexed their goal scoring muscles against a hapless UPDF side to consolidate top spot as the league gathers momentum.

Police, for their part, won their third consecutive game with victory over strugglers Ugx Luweero.

Victory has pushed the Cops up in the table standings as they keep hot on the heels of NIC and Prison.
