The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) has confirmed match Officials who will be in charge of second leg tie between Uganda and Rwanda in the World Cup Qualifiers at the St Mary’s stadium Kitende on Sunday 10th October.
Fahad Bayo scored the only goal as Uganda Cranes managed to beat Rwanda to register their first win of the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
It was Micho’s first competitive win since making his return as a Uganda Cranes coach.
Uganda who are unbeaten in the group after 2 draws and a win have kept 3 cleansheets in the opening 3 games with 5 points in Group E that also has Kenya and Mali.
Uganda will hope to complete a double against Rwanda when the host the Amavubi on Sunday at the St Mary’s stadium Kitende.
Uganda Cranes sits second in the Group E with 5 points 2 below leaders Mali and 3 points above Kenya in third while Rwanda are bottom of the Group with a single point.
Seven match Officials have been appointed for the tie with the Referees coming from Tunisia while Match Assessor and Match Commissioner from Tanzania and Ghana respectively.
