*Final: Betway KOBs 03-00 Pirates

Betway KOBs were crowned champions of the Gulu circuit on Saturday at Pece Stadium in the second leg of the 2021 Guinness National Rugby Sevens Series.

KOBs beat Pirates 03-00 in a closely contested final, which was a repeat of last Sunday’s match up at Legends during the Mileke Circuit.

James Ijongat split the sticks with a drop kick in the second half for the only points on board in the final.

It was an improved performance for Pirates from last Sunday but they lost to a better KOBs side who finished the whole the whole circuit minus conceding a point.

KOBs lost Joseph Aredo just minutes into the final but remained in character to get the job done.

For their win, KOBs, take Sh500,000 while circuit MVP Ian Munyani took Sh250000 thanks to Guinness.
