The Trustees of SC Villa have called an extra-ordinary meeting of the paid-up club congress members on October 23 2021.
The meeting date coincides with that FUFA gave the club to have held their presidential elections.
SC Villa chairman of the Interim Committee William Nkemba wrote to the club congress members: “This is notify you of a physical extra-ordinary meeting of the paid-up members of the Sports Club Villa that is due to take place at Serena Hotel, Kigo on Saturday October 23 2021 at 9am.”
“The Board of Trustees will attend and participate in the meeting.”
The meeting’s agenda has Government Structure within the Trust, The Stopped Club Elections, Streamlining of the Trust and Club Governance Documents and Club Elections.
Moses Magogo who is part of Villa Member Trust and doubles as the FUFA President, earlier said that SC Villa should hold Presidential Elections without fail.
The club trustees requested a three-month extension to have everything in place before holding elections.
The Elections were suspended in August after a court injuction following a petition filed by Brenda Kawuma Nambalirwa.
Villa Trustees said that their interim committee needs more time to prepare the team for the season, attend to all the club licensing requirements, prepare for and update the congress on the developments in order to map a way forward.
