Preview: All Eyes On Muhammad Shaban

Prodigal son Muhammad Shaban will be making his second debut at the club.

The Striker left the West Nile giants in September 2017 and has had stints at KCCA, Raja Casablanca (Morocco) and Vipers.

He has fallen below the radar and will look to find his lost mojo at the club that is devoid of quality.

The club released 14 players including Moses Okot, Hakim Magombe, Gabriel Matata, Shaban Wasswa Noel Nasasira among others while Kabon Living joined URA.

They finished 12th last season in what was their toughest season since joining too flight.

With financial issues still a big burden, Onduparaka will be hoping to get off the mark against UPDF FC.

However, they will be without new head coach George Lutalo who is with Crested Cranes in camp.

The Caterpillars have hosted UPDF twice at the Greenlight Stadium winning both of the games.

UPDF FC on the other hand, under new coach Brian Senyondo will hope for a perfect start to the season just like it was last season which saw them storm the summit of the log midway the campaign.

They lost a couple of players including striker Brian Kayanja who scored 7 league goals last season.

Ssenyondo will be targeting to improve on the club’s 8th position last season but his first game pits him against a side they have never beaten in the league.

Kabon scored the only goal as Onduparaka beat UPDF FC 1-0 at Bombo, the second meeting in Arua was not played after the league was halted due to Covid19.

Probable Lineups:
