Speaking about the new recruits, Ssekajja says these players are self motivated and that’s all they needed.

“The Kind of players we have brought in are players that are self motivated. So we want motivation to be personal in otherwords to come from within. Of course collectively, we believe we shall work with the technical staff to build this team,” he said.

“To any player joining a club like KCCA, one must have it in mind that he is joining a side whose demand for excellent results from the board and the fans is well scripted.”

And the Chairman says that they passed on their target to these new recruits.

He said: “We passed on our target to them, they are aware of the expectation that is the main motivation. The other motivation that we do undertake is really a token of appreciation from our adminstration and in the past we have done this, we have always given the top scorer sometimes land titles, We pledge to do the same this year.”

For the past two seasons, the club has not won any trophy since the 2018-19 season. Last season, they finished fourth on the UPL log, ten points below league Champions Express FC.

With the new UPL Season underway, Ssekajja has promised some big reward to the eventual Club’s top scorer and to the rest of the players.

“If they win the league title and the top scorer hits the target, we shall be giving them some good rewards as we have always done. We also have other incentives, normally they get winning bonuses of the trophy. Whatever bonus we get out of winning the trophy we give out the biggest percentage to the players and technical team. They will have to put that at the back of their minds,” Ssekajja added.
