FIFA Rankings: Uganda Rises, Top 10 in Africa and World Revealed

Uganda has improved in the latest FIFA rankings released on October 21.

The Cranes, under coach Micho, have climbed four places to 82nd from 86th position last month.

The rise has been inevitable after Uganda picked a double header victory of the World Cup Qualifiers against Rwanda’s Amavubi Stars in the concluded month of October.

Fahad Bayo scored a goal each in both games for Cranes to win 1-0 in both legs and move to eight points in second position of Group E.

The Cranes host Kenya on November 11 before an away tie against Mali.

Cranes opponents Kenya have dropped to 104th from 102nd, Mali improved from 61 to 57 while Rwanda has dropped from 128th from 133rd.
