Preview: Can Gaddafi Get off the Mark?

Gaddafi FC took a long trip to face fellow promoted side Tooro United on matchday three of the Uganda Premier League at Buhinga stadium in the Tourism City of Fort Portal.

It has been baptism of fire for Gaddafi FC in the top flight so far

They have lost two from as many games and will be seeking for a positive result when they visit Tooro United at Buhinga Stadium.

The Soldier Boys were beaten by Busoga United in the derby before falling to KCCA FC at Lugogo.

Against KCCA FC, they looked an improved side but wasted many opportunities in a game they could have snatched a point.

The team arrived in Fort Portal City on Sunday morning and will be fancying their chances to get their first points on board.

The Hosts on the other hand will be hoping to get more points on board having beaten Mbarara City in their opener.

Marvin Oshaba scored the all important goal and the forward also fluffed his penalty later on.

It was a tight game on a muddy Buhinga pitch but the local fans managed to cheer their side to the finish line in a Western derby.

Ahead of Gaddafi’s visit, coach Edward Golola is well aware that there is no room for mistake and they have to collect as many points as they can very early into the season.
