Preview – KCCA Seek To Extend Perfect Start

KCCA FC will be targeting to extend their good start in this new season when they visit Busoga United on Wednesday at Njeru.

Byekwaso’s charges have had a bright start into the season, winning all their two games against Wakiso Giants and Gaddafi in that order.

Ahead of the tie, Byekwaso anticipates a tough challenge but is optimistic his side will maintain the winning touch.

“We thank the almighty God for helping us win our first games. Its not easy since our league is now competitive and we are geared up for the next contest,” said Byekwaso.

“It wont be easy since they won their first game against Gaddafi, I think the game will be tough but for us we want to maintain our good start and this is a marathon.”

Last season, KCCA, then under Mike Mutebi, thrashed Busoga United 4-0 at Njeru thanks to hat-trick from Sadat Anaku and one goal from Charles Lwanga.

On the other hand, Abbey Kikomeko’s men come with confidence having won their first game against Gaddafi FC in the Jinja derby.

They will be looking forward to building on that given the fact that this will as well be their first home game in the season.
