Express Snaps Losing Streak

Tuesday, October 26
*BUL FC 0-1 Express FC

Express FC have finally got off the mark courtesy of a 1-0 hard fought victory away to BUL FC.

The Red Eagles had lost four in a row, and without finding the back of the net in the process.

Mahad Yaya Kakooza connected from Martin Kizza’s cross seven minutes into the second half for the only goal of the game at Bugembe.

Its sweet revenge for the Red Eagles who were eliminated by BUL FC at the semifinals of the Uganda Cup last month.

It is a laboured win for the visitors who had no head coach Wasswa Bbosa, captain Enock Walusimbi and star man Eric Kambale.

The victory leaves Express with three points after match-day three.

BUL FC finished the match with a man down after Walter Ochora recieved his second yellow card in added time.

In a game of limited chances, BUL will rue fluffed opportunity from Musa Esenu who fired over the bar with Joel Mutakubwa to beat.

BUL FC have three points from their opening two games having beaten Police 2-1 in the opener.

What Next – BUL FC visit Onduparaka on Saturday while Express will be hosting Vipers at Wankulukuku
