Uganda Cranes: Micho Summons Squad For Regional Tour

Uganda Cranes coach Milutin ‘Micho’ has named a 23-man squad to face Northern team select in the upcoming Regional tour due November 6.

The tour will kick start Uganda Cranes last round of preparations for the World Cup Qualifiers.

The Cranes, pitted in Group E have Kenya (Home) and Mali (Away) next month.

Micho has included Vipers young goalkeeper Jack Komakech while Express FC midfielder Mhaad Yaya Kakooza is the other surprise inclusion.

The game against Northern Select team will be the second regional tour this year after Uganda beat Eastern Region Select Team 1-0 earlier.

The Summoned Uganda Cranes team:

Goalkeepers: Joel Mutakubwa (Express), Alionzi Nafian (URA), Jack Komakech (Vipers)

Defenders: Ashraf Mandela (URA), Paul Willa (Vipers), Abdul-Aziz Kayondo (Vipers), Denis Iguma (KCCA), Enock Walusimbi (Express), Najib Fesali (URA), Livingstone Mulondo (Vipers)

Midfielders: Shafik Kuchi Kagimu (URA), Bobosi Byaruhanga (Vipers), Mahad Kakooza (Express), Bright Anukani (Vipers), Julius Poloto (KCCA), Ibrahim Orit (Vipers), Milton Karisa (Vipers), Rogers Mato (KCCA)

Forwards: Sadat Anaku (KCCA), Yunus Sentamu (Vipers), Steven Mukwala (URA), Rwothomio Cromwell (URA), Martin Kizza (Express)
