Preview: Empty Arena Awaits Gaddafi FC

Gaddafi FC will play their second home game of the league season when they welcome Bright Stars at the Gaddafi Arena.

They lost the opener to Busoga United 2-0, beaten 2-1 by KCCA FC and picked their first point away to Tooro United.

In search for their first win, Gaddafi FC will have to do it without fans after FUFA found them guilty of having allowed more than 200 fans.

Consequently, they were also fined Sh1m for breach of Covid19 directives.

However, having picked a point at Buhinga, Gaddafi will fancy their chances against a Bright Stars team that is yet to get off the mark.

Bright Stars have lost their opening two games – Beaten at Mbarara and lost at home to Onduparaka.

The streak is five league games without a win, which stretches from last season having failed to beat any of Onduparaka, Vipers and Police in their last three games of the 2020/21 season.

“We have lost two matches and we are facing new babies at the place but I hope we win because we have prepared well. We have corrected some mistakes,” said Bright Stars coach Baker Mbowa.

“We have improved in the past games and we hope to do a better job.”
