Second half substitute Sadam Masereka scored the all important goal of the game in the closing minutes of the game to hand the Jogoos all the three points on the evening.

It was Villa’s first game of the season, who were initially excluded from the UPL Fixture due to license issues thus missing the opening three league games.

Villa new greek Coach Petros Koukouras handed four of the new signings their debut at the club, one of which later turned out to be the man of the match.

The four said players included defender Kenneth Ssemakula, Ali Bayo, Joseph Kafumbe and forward Oscar Mawa.

The first half saw a limited chances as both teams tried to settle in the game and there was literally nothing to write home about.

Later on in the second, the Visitors had a goal disallowed after Muwada Mawejje was judged to be offside.

As the game seemed to be heading for a stalemate, second half substitute Masereka broke the deadlock with only seven minutes left on the clock to see his side bag all the three points on the day.
