Wakiso Giants Continue Resuscitation Post-Bamweyana Era

Wakiso Giants have continued their road to recovery since the departure of coach Douglas Bamweyana.

The Purple Sharks beat Busoga United to record their second straight win under coach Alex Gitta.

Frank Sebuufu scored a late 88th minute strike to hand the hosts maximum points at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.

Busoga United goalkeeper Michael Nantamu denied Wakiso Giants a dream start when he kept out an effort from Moses Aliro while Sharif Kimbowa and Titus Ssematimba fired wide from close range.

Busoga United’s best chance saw Anwar Ntege miss from point blank range but the side could not find a breakthrough before they conceded late for their second loss.

Its the second victory for Wakiso who also beat Police at Lugogo following three straight I losses under Bamweyana.

What Next – Wakiso Giants visit SC Villa while Busoga United face Tooro United at Buhinga on match-day five.
