The Pledge towards Juuko’s Red card fine:
*Players – 8,850,000
*Technical – 7, 300,000
*Juuko Murushid – 1,000,000
*Moses Magogo – 1,850,000

Uganda Cranes players and Technical officials have agreed in solidarity to help in footing the fine on Defender Murushid Juuko.

The Express defender was fined Sh20m by FIFA after his red card following his elbow in Uganda Cranes match against Mali in the World Cup Qualifiers at Kitende.

Juuko was not named in the Cranes squad for the Kenya and Mali games this week because he had not cleared the fine.

Since, the issue has been met with mixed reviews with some suggesting that FUFA should be paying the fine instead because Juuko was on National duty.

FUFA President Hon. Magogo Moses Hassim has also agreed to contribute towards the clearance of the fine handed to Murushid Juuko by FIFA.

The players will take part of their match bonuses to help Juuko clear the fine.

This was was reached during Magogo’s visit to the camp in Entebbe where the team is camped at Imperial Botanical Beach Hotel.

The defender will also contribute Sh1m towards the settlement of the fine.
