“Everything is going on well as planned the 21 man Squad is fit enough and there is no injuries,” Akena said.

“I know the expectations are high and we are also going to do our best and work hard because as we speak now as Calvary, we already have a point so we are going for the two points.

Former SC Villa Winger Vitalis Tabu who joined Calvary from BUL FC didn’t travel with the team.

“Tabu pulled a small injury in the pre season friendlies but he’s getting back,” he explained.

“He was already back in the field last week but fitness wise he could not make it.”

Julius Malingumu and Defender Odargiu Khalid are both ruled out of the encounter due to Technical issues according to the gaffer but remained hopeful that the duo will be available in coming matches.

Choka Julius who was signed from Paidha Black Angels just like his Coach, says they will be opting for all three points against the Luzira based club.

Choka, the assistant capatain, said: “The team is ready and set. We want to get maximum points against Maroons.

“We are so ready and prepared for this first game it has been a long time waiting for it and of course the preparations have been high.”
