Mbale Heroes Boost Squad With Two Additions

Mbale Heroes FC has boosted their squad with two more additions as they gear up for the forthcoming Regional league.

The said players who have joined the Mbale based side are Chibatish Bahati who joins from Tooro United and Yiga Sunday from Kajansi united.

Last season, Mbale Heroes were relegated to the third division after ending the campaign with 17 points to finish seventh in the Elgon group of the FUFA Big League.

Earlier, they had a chance to stay up but failed to beat Kataka FC in a derby clash when they found themselves in a must win situation in their last game of the 2020/21 FUFA Big League regular season.

In the previous transfer window, they lost their former Captain Jamaldin Buchochera, who joined new UPL entrants Gaddafi FC. Right back Ibrahim Kibumba sustained a long term injury and has not been with the team since the end of last season.

At the end last month, the Federation confirmed that the 2021/22 regional leagues will kick off from 3rd to 11 December this year.

Further more, it was revelead that the fixtures will be submitted on 15th November while Licence production will start from 16th to 22nd November and end on 26th November.

With the days for the regional leagues fast approaching, Mbale Heroes are expected to add in more players as they seek to bounce back to the FUFA Big League.
