Two Busoga United League Games Rescheduled

The Uganda Premier league Secretariat has rescheduled two Busoga United fixtures to pave way for some football arrangements.

These new developments were confirmed in a statement released by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Bernard Bainamani on Tuesday this week

The match between Busoga United FC and Soltilo Bright Stars FC that was to be held at FUFA Technical Centre-Njeru has been moved from Saturday 20th November 2021 to Friday 19th November 2021 with the time and venue unchanged.

The reason for the adjustment of this fixture was in line with a request by the Masaza Cup organizers to have 20th November 2021 as the opening Ceremony.

The other fixture of Match day 15 Busoga United FC Vs URA FC, FUFA Technical Centre-Njeru that was meant to be played on 3rd December 2021 has been postponed to pave way for the Uganda Vs South Africa, U20 Women World Cup Qualifier match. It was also revelead that a new date will be communicated soon for this adjusted fixture.

Earlier on this week on Monday, the club confimed their plnas about moving to Kakindu Stadium as their new home venue and just waiting clearance from the Federation.

With the Masaza Cup 2021 kick starting this week on Saturday at Njeru, Busoga United change of home venue was invetible as they had to pave way for Buganda’s most prestigious tournament.

In their opening four games this seaaon, the Jinja based side have won two games and lost two. They currently sit in the 8th position with six points.
