The Federation of Uganda Basketball Association (FUBA) is set for the Her World, Her Rules camp in Kitgum, Northern Uganda due 23-27 of November.

Her World, Her Rules Campaign is the International Federations Basketball’s (FIBA) most recognized women’s initiative.

Score Beyond Leadership Organization is the implementing partner with FUBA based on its background of engaging with young girls to grow the sport of Basketball.

The founder of Score Beyond Leadership Organization, Mavita Ali, stated: “This camp is important because we shall get to work with like minded partners like FUBA, FIBA and UNICEF to impact the adolescent girls through sports.”

She also added that the greater North is the organization’s scope of interest for the next 5 years and she is hopeful that they will continue to work with the adolescent girls they will interact with while at this camp.

The camp will focus on introducing the sport of basketball to the girls and train them in life skills to grow their confidence.

There will also be a training course for basketball referees and coaches.
