2021 Masaza Cup: Ssingo Targets First Win

Ssingo will be targeting their maiden win in this year’s 2021 Masaza Cup tournament when they take on Kabula Ssaza on Thursday evening.

In their first game held on Monday, Ssingo twice came from down to draw 2-2 with table leaders Kyadondo.

Now Sitted in third place, Ssingo will all go out in search for maximum points to keep their qualification chances alive in the Masengere group.

For Kabula, they have had a poor start into this year’s tournament and have conceded the most goals in the group (8) so far. They lost 5-2 to Buluuli before losing 3-0 to Gomba on Monday.

A loss to Ssingo on Thursday will all but end their chances of qualifying to the next round.

On the other hand, record champions Gomba will be facing Buluuli in the first game of the day at noon.

On Monday, Gomba got off the mark as beat Kabula 3-0. They had earlier on lost to Kyadondo 2-0 in their opener last Saturday.

Against Buluuli, they face a side that scored five in their first game and will have to be at their best if they are to get the job done.
