Preview: Express Out To Snap Wakiso Giants’ Run

Express FC will be targeting maximum points when they host on-form Wakiso Giants on Friday at Muteesa II stadium in Wankulukuku.

The Red Eagles come into game on the back of a goalless draw with rivals SC Villa and the hosts will be hoping to return to winning ways.

Express find themselves in 6th with eight points, four below visiting Wakis Giants.

The Purple Sharks are firing on all cylinders and have won four from as many games under coach Alex Gitta.

Gitta, who was promoted to the role of head coach after Douglas Bamweyana’s exit, will be facing his former side.

Just like Gitta, Wakiso Giants winger Frank Ssenyondo will have a point to prove against Wasswa Bbosa who deemed him surplus to requirements before the pint-sized player left for Wakiso.

Last season, Express beat Wakiso Giants 3-0 at Wankulukuku thanks to goals from George Senkaaba, Charles Musiige, and Godfrey Lwesibawa.
