Preview: Villa Seeks Redemption against Onduparaka.

SC Villa will be seeking to return to winning ways when they host Onduparaka at the new found home in Njeru on Friday.

Earlier this week on Tuesday, the Joggos lost 2-1 to BUL FC in their first home game at their new venue this season.

Making the day worse, Villa finished with ten men after youngster Oscar Mawa was shown matching orders as his side lost their second game this season.

The loss extended Petros Koukouras’ winless streak to three games in a row ever since they edged Police FC 1-0 in their league opener.

Heading into Friday’s game, the Greek coach’s major concern will be the inability for his side to convert the available chances being created in the few games so far.

In fact they have only scored three goals in the opening four games of the season.

Playing at the same Venue (Njeru) for the second time this season, Villa will all go out in a bid to return to winning ways if they are to avoid early relegation battles.

On the other hand, the visitors come a motivated having picked a late 1-0 win against Police FC at home in Arua in their previous game.

Sitted in the eighth position with 8 points, the West Nile based were boosted by the addition of goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga, who on his debut against Police FC kept a cleansheet.

Playing away from, Onduparaka have all eyes on keeping the winning momentum to earn the much needed points at the start of the season.
