Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has confirmed that they will take care of all the expenses to see that ailing youngster Isma Mugulusi undergoes an operation.

The attacking midfielder is yet to feature for his new club SC Villa since joining from Busoga United this season.

“What is important right now is for the player to have a successful operation and get back to the pitch,” FUFA Head of Communications Ahmed Hussein told The-Sportsnation.

“We know what he can do with the ball when fully fit. Youngsters need proper handling and good Development careers.”

Mugulusi tore his lateral meniscus anterior horn and a fundraiser for the player to get a knee operation in Greece was initiated earlier.

His agent Eugene Sepuya recently told Daily Monitor that the Athens Medical and Healing Centre in Greece will need around Sh25m.

The exciting midfielder has featured for both Uganda U17 (Cubs) and U20 (Hippos) teams and was part of the squad that reached the final of the AFCON U20 this year.
