Police Shuts Out URA FC in Ndejje

Police FC managed to hold URA FC in a league game played at the Arena of Visions.

The Tax Collectors were outright favourites coming into the game having beaten Vipers 2-0 away at Kitende and the side had thrashed Tooro United 6-1 in their previous game in Ndejje.

Police on the other hand, came into the game having scored just two goals in seven matches!

URA didn’t create any clear cut chances but Steven Mukwala missed a chance when when he was teed up by substitue Kabon Living while Moses Sseruyidde and Saidi Kyeyune missed just inches from the freekick.

Steven Mukwala could have won it late for URA but he was denied Thomas Ikara.

Tony Mawejje came the closest twice for Police after being left free but his tame effort was straight to the Goalkeeper.

Mawejje also picked Juma Balinya at the other end but the attacking midfielder failed to connect with the delivery.

The draw puts URA 7th with 11 points while Police FC are bottom with 2 points.

What next for both sides

URA return to action on Friday 3rd away to Busoga United at the Fufa Technical Centre Njeru while Police FC will take on Gadaffi FC on Tuesday 7th at the MTN Omondi Stadium.
