The FUFA Competitions Disciplinary panel has found SC Villa guilty of failure to tame its fans in the startimes Uganda Premier League match against BUL FC at the FUFA Technical Centre Njeru on 23rd November.
SC Villa lost the match to BUL courtesy of Musa Esenu first half brace while Isaac Ogwang scored for SC Villa with the record champions finishing the match with 10 players after Youngster Oscar Mawa was sent off in the first half.
According to the referee’s match report, SC Villa fans pelted stones to the BUL FC Technical bench which led to temporary stoppage of the game which violates Article 31(10)(c), (e) and (f) of the FUFA Competitions Rules.
Therefore SC Villa has been slapped with a suspended deduction of two points and two goals which will be effected should a similar incident happen.
SC Villa are13th on the log with 7 points in 6 matches after 2 wins, a draw and 3 loses.
There next assignment will be at home to URA on Tuesday 7th December.
