Tushar Ruparelia: Former SC Villa Manager, Agent Dead

Local football fraternity is mourning the death of renown player Agent Tushar Ruparelia.

It is said that he passed away in Nairobi where he had been for the last three months. He is a former resident of Bugoloobi.

He leaves behind a wife Seema Ruparelia and one daughter Rishma Ruparelia.

Tushar was SC Villa manager in the early 2000s under the leadership of Omar Mandela who has since returned to the club recently.

He is a well know FUFA Player intermediary working under Pro Zone and has managed clients like Crested Cranes striker Juliet Nalukenge, Bright Anukani, Pius Obuya, Salim Abdallah, Joel Madondo among others.

Tushar who has Indian decency, Born on January 2 1962, is a cousin brother to Businessman Sudhir Ruparelia.

Father Figure’ – Tushar’s Tributes

Ronnie Lusulire, who is the Public Relations Officer at Tushar’s Prozone Company stated: “I am saddened by the death of Mr Tushar. I had just talked to him recently. This is very shocking.”

“He has been a father Figure to almost every Ugandan player. He has helped every from the likes of Fahad Bayo, Moses Waiswa etc. He had of recent developed love for Women Football and we had bigger plans. May he rest with the Angels.”

Former Villa midfielder David Owori said that “to me you were like my dad with a caring heart and I appreciate for everything you did and offered for me.”

Uganda Cranes striker Bayo said: “You meant a lot to me, you mentored me a d guided me. You are a father to not only me but to the football fraternity in Uganda.”

Former Uganda Cranes defender Savio Kabugo said that Tushar made him a person he is today. He added: “You made me a better person and gave me a shoulder to lean on when things were not going by my side.”

Paul Mukatabala, former SC Villa Player described him as a “simple man who always spared a moment to listen to us players…”
