Police FC twice came from down as they registered a 2-all draw against Gaddafi in a league game held at the Omondi Stadium in Lugogo on Tuesday.

Second half goals from Juma Balinya and Substitute Herman Wasswa ensured that the Cops avoided another defeat at home.

Amos Kirya and Hassan Musana (penalty) scored the two goals for the visiting Soldier Boyz.

The opening exchanges saw limited chances from both sides as they tried to settle on a sunny evening in Lugogo.

However, it was Gaddafi who scored first through Kirya in the 38th minute to put them ahead before the interval.

At the restart of the second half, Police made two changes with Muwada Mawejje and Duncan Sseninde coming on for Brian Muluuli and Mubaraka Nsubuga respectively. The two changes brought in more life as the Cops started opening up in search for the leveller.

With eight minutes past the hour mark, Balinya headed in home to put the game back to level terms.

However, three minutes later, defender Musana doubled his side’s lead, scoring from a spot.

Moments later, Wasswa, who came on for Samuel Kayongo restored parity for his side and his goal could later earn a point for the Cops.

There on, despite Police launching various attacks, Gaddafi remained composed at the back to walk away with a point at Lugogo

Police FC’s winless streak continues as they pick their third point and still remain rock bottom after the opening nine games.

For Gaddafi, they move to ten points after their opening nine games. (W2, D4, L3).

What Next- Police will be up against KCCA FC at the same Venue this week on Friday in the Lugogo derby while Gaddafi will host SC Villa on the same day at the Gaddafi arena in Jinja City.
