Cromwel Rwothomio scored late in the game as URA picked a vital point against SC Villa in a league game played at the FUFA Technical centre in Njeru on Tuesday.

The forward headed in home in the 88th minute off a well taken freekick from Moses Sseruyide, to add on Viane Ssekajugo’s first half strike.

Villa were already up before half time with two goals coming from Sadam Masereka and youngster Travis Mutyaba.

Playing at their new home in Njeru, Villa started the better side, dorminated play and it wasn’t a surprise when they got the first through Masereka in the 3rd minute of the game. Masereka benefited from Mutyaba’s through ball to slot in home past an onrushing URA goalkeeper Sebwalunyo Hannington.

Villa looked more lively going forward with the pair of Mutyaba and Salim Abdallah as they bossed the midfield.

However, the Visitors responded in the 16th minute through Ssekajugo, who capitalised from a poor defending from Gift Fred to send in a powerful left shot past Villa goalkeeper Martin Ssenkooto.

There on, despite conceding Villa looked more dangerous on the counter as they launched more attacks to double their lead.

At the stoke of half time, Mutyaba who was brilliant on the day, restored parity for his side with a powerful left shot outside after collecting from Amir Kakomo.

In the second half, URA were dorminant but failed looked blunt in the final third throughout.

With two minutes to play, , Rwothomio rose highest to node in off a well delivered free kick from Sseruyide to deny Villa maximum points on the day.

The result saw Villa move to the 12th position with eight points collected from their opening seven games. (W2, D2, L3).

For URA, they remain in the seventh position with 12 points collected from seven games as well. (W3, D3, L1).

What Next- Villa will be away to Gaddafi FC on Friday this week while URA will host Express FC the following day at Ndejje.
