Alex Isabirye Says BUL FC is Competing for the Title

BUL FC head coach reiterates his club’s intentions for this season’s league title after an impressive start to the 2021/22 season.

BUL ran riot against rivals Busoga United in the Jinja Derby to win 5-0, Ibrahim Nsimbe with a hatrick, Musa Esenu and Richard Wandyaka scored the other two.

Speaking after the game, Head Coach Isabirye said the players played under instruction and they responded well.

“I am really happy we won the game 5-0, we played under instructions, the players responded well,” Isabirye said.

“All along I have been telling you that we are competing this season for the title, we don’t want to just participate.”

The gaffer also added that they made amends to the KCCA loss that saw them miss a lot of chances.

“We lost our game against KCCA where we created chances but we didn’t score after that game, we came and concentrated on scoring and I think that’s why the results went our way.”

BUL FC who moved to 3rd on the log with 17 points in 9 matches after 5 wins, 2 draws and one loss, will face Tooro United at the Buhinga Stadium on Friday 10th.
