Al Ahly Vs Raja: CAF Confirms Date for Super Cup

The Confederation Africa Football (CAF) has confirmed the dates and City for the 2021 TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup.

The CAF Super Cup is an annual African association football competition contested between the winners of the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup.

Al Ahly (Egypt), winners of the 2020-21 CAF Champions League, will face Raja Casablanca (Morocco) who won the 2020-21 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup in the annual playoff on the TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup title.

The much anticipated affair will be hosted in Doha, Qatar on 22 December 2021.

The venue and kick-off time will be announced in due course, CAF has stated.

The match was initially scheduled to take place on September 24 before it was postponed.

Egyptian giants Al Ahly are the defending champions having beaten RS Berkane of Morocco 2-0 at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha, Qatar.

Raja who beat JS Kabylie of Algeria to win the Confederation Cup, stand in Al Ahly’s way to a record eight extending Super Cup title.
