Gadafi Wahab and Rashid Kawawa were on target for Arua Hill in a 2-1 win over UPDF FC.
Ivan Ahimbisibwe scored the only goal for the visitors in a tight game at Barifa Stadium.
Arua Hill leapfrog UPDF in the 6th position with 18 points as the Army side remain on 17 points.
Arua Hill created the first clear chance of the game but Alfred Leku could not find the back of the net.
And Gadafi later broke the deadlock for Arua Hill in the 11th minute from the freekick.
The hosts lead didn’t last long however, with Ivan Ahimbisibwe equalising for UPDF in the 17th minute.
Brian Bwete made a double save to deny Alfred Leku and Gadafi Wahab to keep the scoreline intact.
Kawawa restored Arua Hill lead with his first touch of the game after coming on for Ivan Eyam in the 67th minute.
The win is the first for Arua Hill in 3 matches after back to back draws but the side remain unbeaten in their last 5 matches.
UPDF have lost back to back games after winning three on the bounce, this is their second defeat in 5 matches.
The two teams will return to action on Wednesday 22nd as Arua Hill travel away to Wakiso Giants at the Wakissha stadium while UPDF will host BUL FC at the Bombo Military Barracks Ground.
