Ezra Bida scored a hat-trick as Kyetume put sorry Nyamityobora to the sword in a FUFA Big League game at Nakisunga Ssaza ground.

It was a commendable show for Bida, and his best performance since he signed from Onduparaka FC.

Ezra Kizito Kaye bagged a brace while Steven Kabuye, Emmanuel Kalyowa, Rahumatah Kagimu and David Oyeda added one each in a one sided game.

Clinton Kamugisha was on target to slightly save Nyamityobora total humiliation.

Kyetume put Nyamityobora on the ropes from the word go, and Kaye opened the scores with a well worked goal to set the turn in what turned out to be a nightmare for the Visitors who later had their goalkeeper Tonny Musinguzi taken off hurt before the break.

Kyetume were greatly helped by Nyamityobora’s sluggishness on the day and they could have scored more if they put away their many missed chances early into the game.

And the Slaughters just did enough on the day in a performance that was a big Christmas reward to their loyal fans who braved the cold weather to storm Nakisunga Ssaza stadium.

The Visitors barely threatened, looked clueless with the ball for extended stretches and the scoreline greatly reflected the performance on the pitch to clearly put Nyamityobora’s management woes to light.

The Abanyakare, struggling financially, are playing the season without a head coach and if their house is not put in order, a season in Regional League awaits.

Kyetume were more value for the result and it comes as a huge sigh of relief for coach David Mutono after his side had gone three games without a win since beating MYDA FC away.

Mutono made a bold call to start his captain, Dan Birikwalira, on the bench and the tactician will be aware that not all teams will make it simple for them in coming games.

The Slaughters move to fifth with 11 points while Nyamityobora remain second from the bottom with just seven.

Next for Kyetume is a trip to face Proline at Lugogo on December 23 before hosting Kataka on January 2 to end the first round.

Nyamityobora who has played 9 games, face Maroons at Luzira on January 2 for their last game of the first round.
