*Tooro United 1-3 Police
*Bright Stars 0-1 Vipers
*Gaddafi 2-2 Onduparaka
Police beat Tooro United in a league game played at Buhinga Stadium in Fort Portal.
Brian Mululi, Juma Balinya and Tonny Mawejje scored a goal each as Police jumped out of the relegation zone.
It’s the successive win for Police who recently picked their first win against Busoga United at Lugogo.
Mark Nsubuga scored from the spot in the 10th minute but also missed his second penalty later in the second half!
It’s a commendable performance from Police led by their captain Mawejje and it comes at a time when the Peace Keepers are playing without suspended coach Abdallah Mubiru who recently appealed his ban.
We are happy to get our second win,” the midfielder maestro said. “It shows that we are going back to what we were doing. This brings a smile on our faces, we have now caught up and we need to be consistent in our next games.”
It’s the 10th loss for Tooro United who remain rock bottom with four points.
