Coach Abdallah Mubiru’s Appeal Turned Down

FUFA Competitions Disciplinary panel has turned down an appeal by Police FC head coach Abdallah Mubiru.

Mubiru was sanctioned last month by the FUFA Competitions Disciplinary panel after he was found guilty of using abusive language towards match Officials and making comments to the media that put the game into disrepute in the match against Onduparaka FC.

The gaffer lodged an appeal for unfair hearing after he was suspended for two month from all football activities and a fine of 2 million Shillings.

However, Mubiru will pay 1.5 million Shillings instead of the initial 2 million Shillings but he will serve the two-month ban.

After a poor start to the season, Police FC have bounced back and are out of the relegation zone for the first time sitting 13th with 9 points.

Police next game will be against Bright Stars at the MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo on Monday.
