SC Villa head coach Petros Koukouras has admitted that there is no easy game in the Uganda Premier league this season.
This he said after his side’s 4-0 win over Tooro United in a league game held at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru on Monday.
Speaking after the final whistle, the Greek coach first expressed his delight about the victory on the day.
“It was a very good game, we had a good performance and am happy for my boys,” Koukouras told the pressmen.
A goal each from Salim Abdallah, Nicholas Kabonge, Benson Muhindo and Goffin Oyirwoth ensured that the Joggos took care of Edward Golola’s charges.
Despite scoring four on the day, Koukouras admitted that it wasn’t a walk in the park as there are no easy games in the UPL
“It was an easy game since there is no any easy game in the league this season. I think my boys showed some good character and they deserved to win.”
Victory ensured that Villa picked their fourth win of the season and moved to the 9th position with 15 points after 12 games played.
With more league games coming up next year, Petros Koukouras will be hoping for better results so that they can close up the gap at the top.
