Preview: Police seek to Extend fine form as they Welcome Arua Hill.

Police will be targeting to extend their fine form when they welcome Arua Hill at Lugogo on Sunday.

The Cops, who had a poor start into this new season as they went 10 games without a win, have picked four consecutive victories ever since their 3-1 win against Busoga United last month.

They come into Sunday’s game off 1-0 away win to UPDF, one that saw them register their fourth win in a row, thanks to Emmanuel Mugume’s strike.

Back at home, they host a tricky Arua Hill side that has proved a hard nut to crack especially against already established big teams in league.

Sitted in the 11th position with 15 points, Police have a chance to pick a fifth consecutive win on the bounce and also leapfrog Sc Villa in the 10th if they pick maximum points on Sunday.

On the other hand, the Visitors come a motivated side, having picked a vital 1-0 win against Vipers at home in Arua, thanks to Alfred Leku’s strike.

Away from home, they face a Police side that has been in rich form, winning four out of four in their last League outings.

Ahead of the contest, Arua Hill assistant coach Sadiq Ssempiji is aware of the threat Police FC pose but is optimistic they will put up a good show to get the needed result.

“We are playing a team which is tactical with a good coach and players as well. We are aware that they are on form but we are set and we shall put up a good fight. The win against Vipers was a big motivation to our players so we want to push on for maximum points against Police so that we keep around the top four, Ssempiji told the club’s media.”

Having it mind that a win against the Cops will see them move level with Express on 27 points, the Kongolo will all go out for maximum points to keep up with the pace in the top four teams.
