Fahad Bayo Joins Bnei Sakhnin On loan

Uganda Cranes Forward Fahad Bayo Aziz has joined Isreal side Bnei Sakhnin on a season long loan from Ashdod FC.

The move was confirmed by the player’s agency Y.O Football International Agency via their social media page.

“@bayofahad has completed his move to @bneisakhninfc. Wish you many luck!” the agency tweeted.

The former Vipers forward has scored one goal for Ashhod this season having managed six last season as they qualified for the inaugural UEFA Conference League Last season.

Bayo’s new club Bnei Sakhnin sits 8th in the Isreali Premier League Log with 22 points in 16 matches; they have won 6 matches, 4 draws and 6 losses.

Fahad Bayo tweeted: “Glad to announce that I’ve joined #BneiSakhnin from @FCASHDOD until the end of the season. My target is to help the club finish in one of the top places on the Ligat ha’Al table at the end of the season.”

Bnei Sakhnin next game will be at home to Hapoel Jerusalem on Monday before facing Hapoel Hadera in the Israel State Cup on Thursday, 13th.

Bayo leaves his Uganda Cranes teammate Timothy Awany at Ashhod who are 9th on the log with 21 points.

Bnei Sakhnin is an Isreali football club based at the Doha stadium in Sakhnin.
They are the most successful club among the Arab-Isreali clubs in the country having won the state Cup in 2004.

Coached by Sharon Mimer, Bnei Sakhnin was founded in 1991, 31 years ago. They hold the record for the most goals in a season with 60 goals in 2011/2012.
