Masaza Cup Final: Date and Venue Confirmed

The Masaza cup tournament 2021 final will be played on 12th/February/2022 at the St Mary’s stadium in Kitende.

These new developments were confirmed by the Masaza Cup organizing committee.

This year’s finals will see Buddu take on Buwekula whereas Bulemeezi will be up against Mawokota in the third place play off game.

To reach this stage, Buddu eliminated Bulemeezi on Penalties 3-1at the Semi finals held at Njeru last month while Buwekula beat Mawokota 5-3 on penalties as well to reach this far.

Buddu, who lost last year’s final to eventual Champions Gomba will be targeting glory this time round to record their second title having won it in 2016.

For Buwekula, who have never won this Prestigious trophy, they will be targeting their first in this competition when they face off with Buddu next month.

Just as it was in the previous edition, the 2021 Masaza Cup tournament has also been played in a tournament format throughout the group and knock out stages with the games being held at Njeru last month.

Last Year at the same venue in Kitende, Gomba beat Buddu 3-1 to clinch the 2020 Masaza Cup trophy.
