Uganda Premier League side Arua Hill is set to complete the signing of former Vipers player Ibrahim Tembo.

Tembo who can also play in the midfield was at UPDF last season on loan from Vipers SC before his parent club released him recently.

The Defender was highly linked with a move to another league debutants Gadafi FC in the primary transfer window but Arua Hill looks to have won the battle for his signature.

Tembo will be the first January signing for the Kongolo who parted ways with Gadafi Gadinho, Patrick Matovu, Aggrey Atandu and Fred Okot.

Once the deal materialises, Tembo will join his former teammates at UPDF, Goalkeeper Erick Kibowa, Bright Vuni and Robert Eseru as well as Rashid Toha who was his teammate in Vipers.

Arua Hill sits 5th on the log with 25 points after 15 matched in the first round.
