Farouk Miya: Uganda Cranes Midfielder Joins Ukrainian Side

Ugandan midfielder Farouk Miya has joined Ukrainian top tier side FC Lyviv, its official.

Miya who has been without a club for close to six months after being released by Konyaspor FC at the start of the 2021/2022 season, joins FC Lyviv as a free agent on a short term deal which will see him stay at the club till the end of the season.

He will be granted an option to extend his stay at the club if he manages to impress the bosses.

FC Lyviv sits 12th on the Ukrainian premier League table with just three points above the relegation playoff Zone and he will be eager to help his new side avoid relegation on the 16-team log.

Miya made his move to Europe in a transfer from Vipers SC to Standard leige in the Belgium top division.

The 24 year old midfielder has went on to feature for Belgium side Royal muscoron, HNK Gorica in Croatia, Sebail of Azerbaijan and Konyaspor in Turkey.
