SC Villa are set to face rivals Express at the round of 32 after the Stanbic Uganda Cup draws were held on Friday morning at FUFA house in Mengo.

The Jogoos have a pending round of 64 tie against Gulu’s Super Eagles which will be played on February 20 2022. This tie was delayed due to Villa having players on National team that toured Asia last month.

The round of 32 encounter between Express and Villa or Super Eagles will be played at Wankulukuku.

It promises to be a mouthwatering tie between the two traditional giants (if SC Villa overcome Super Eagles). The league tie at Wankulukuku ended goalless in November last year.

Express who have the Uganda Cup a record 10 times, beat PCCP 3-0 at Lugogo at the round of 64. The Red Eagles will hope for a strong run in the competition having lost to BUL at the semis last year.

The round of 32 ties will be played between 22nd and 28th February.

All teams that have reached this stage (round of 32) are guaranteed of Sh2m each in terms of Prize money courtesy of title sponsors Stanbic Bank.

Other ties:

Onduparaka FC will meet Tooro United in one of the other all-UPL ties at the round of 32.

Busoga United will meet BUL in a Jinja derby, while the other Jinja side Gaddafi FC have been pitted against Police FC.

KCCA FC will host Bright Stars while Mbarara City will welcome URA FC in Kakyeka.

SC Vipers who still have to face Kigezi Homeboys at the round of 64, may visit Kalango United in Agago.

Tipsah FC who eliminated UPL side Arua Hill at the round of 64, have been awarded with a home tie against Big League side Kitara FC
