She Maroons Vs Kawempe Muslim – 3Pm
Luzira Prisons Grounds

Saturday results

Rines WFC 0-3 Kampala Queens
Tooro Queens 0-0 Olila H/S

She Maroons will be targeting their maiden win when they welcome Kawempe Muslim on Sunday at the Luzira Prisons grounds.

The Luzira based side, who won last Year’s Women Elite League have had a poor start into this year’s Women Super League, picking just a point in four games.

They had a goalless draw against Lady Doves in their opener before losing three consecutive games each against UCU Lady Cardinals, Kampala Queens and Olila High School last week.

Seated second from the bottom, She Maroons must start winning up games if they are to avoid relegation scares this Season.

Meanwhile the Visitors Kawempe Muslim have ambitions of getting back to winning ways.

Ever since their 2-0 win over Kampala Queens in their opener, Kawempe have failed to pick up needed results in their recent two games, picking two draws in the process.

Their Match day four game against Rines WFC that was scheduled for last Sunday was Postponed to give room to the U17 Women’s team that had a game against Ethiopia in the World Cup Qualifiers.

Away from home, Kawempe will be targeting maximum points to keep closing up the gap at the top given the adequate time they have had to prepare for this contest.

Fresh from the U17 national team, Hadijja Nandago who scored twice against Ethiopia will once again be tasked to lift up her side if they are to pick as needed result from Luzira.
