Nigerian striker Abubakar Lawal has been unveiled at Vipers on a two-year employment contract, a move first reported by this website.
He joins Kitende-based side after completing his stay at AS Kigali in Rwanda.
“I feel happy and at home. They have showed me love ever since l arrived here,” Lawal is quoted by Vipers.
“I’m here to give my best. I know the club hasn’t been in the CAF Champions League group stages. So, am here to help and fight to make that dream come true.”
He bagged eight goals and 10 assists in all competitions for AS Kigali and leaves the side he joined 2020.
He played for Nasarawa United in Nigeria Professional Football League and scored Seven goals in 18 games before the 2019/20 season was halted by COVID.
Lawal, is a former Nigerian U-20 international and also featured for Wikki Tourists of Bauchi and Kano Pillars.
