NEC rallied from down to beat Ndejje University and consolidate their place at the top of the FUFA Big League table in a game played at Bombo Barracks Ground.
Samuel Nsubuga gave Ndejje an early lead from the spot but Derrick Ssekiranda and Stephen Nayinga completed the comeback for the Visitors.
NEC have now won all the three games they have so far played in the Second Division having beaten Calvary and Police in that order.
Ndejje’s poor start to the season continues and they are winless in the three matches with just a point.
The hosts took an early lead in the 5th after Nsubuga sent his former teammate Braddy Wokorach the wrong way from the spot after a foul on Akena George in the area.
Ssekiranda restored parity for the visitors in the 38th minute when he benefited from a mix up in the box.
Both sides barely created any clear cut chances in the second half.
Luzige Nicholas twice came close for the home side but his shots were too high while Norman Ndyamuhaki had his attempt tipped off for a corner.
Substitute Nayinga won it very late in the 95th minute tapping a pass from close range though he looked to have tripped the Defender off Farouk Sekayi pass.
NEC maintains the top spot with 9 points while Ndejje University have just a point after three matches.
They both return to action on Thursday 3rd November as Ndejje University travel away to Kataka at FUFA Technical Centre Njeru while NEC host Mbarara City at Bugolobi Coffee Ground.
